Description
Male

Prosoma brown-red, pars cephalica slightly lighter, eye region black, large, dark lines radiating from large, black fovea. Chelicerae brown, with 3 teeth on pro- and retromargin each. Palps: Patellar apophysis not divided and neither concave nor plane (in contrast to C. pabulator and C. pastor). Bulb with pointed lever ventral of conductor.

prosoma length: 5.4 mm, prosoma width: 4.0 mm.

Body length male: 11 mm
Female

Prosoma brown-red, pars cephalica slightly lighter, eye region black, large, dark lines radiating from large, black fovea. Chelicerae brown, with 3 teeth on pro- and retromargin each. Epigyne resembling C. pastor, but lateral grooves are lyriform in C. poweri. Anterior edge medially not strongly rebordered.
