Description
Male

Male unknown.

Female

Prosoma yellowish brown, with brown lateral bands, with fine black marginal line. Sternum reddish brown, with U-shaped marking. Legs reddish brown, Femora with some darker markings. Opisthosoma: dorsum dark brown, with light yellow median band, anteriorly with red marking, venter yellowish white, with black longitudinal band.

Body length female: 12.5 mm
Additional information

This species has only been collected once, more than 100 years ago. It could be a misidentification and needs careful re-examination. In the meanwhile, it seems not to be justified to list this species as alien for Europe.
